Ellen Werner is a professional artist with a passion for nurturing the next generation of creatives. With a strong background in painting and a love for yoga, Ellen believes that art is not just about creating; it's about cultivating critical thinking and self-expression. She has extensive experience in teaching children through the arts, guiding young minds to explore their creativity and develop essential skills.

Ellen loves teaching the students at St. Margaret's. Her love of teaching involves teaching critical thinking and having the girls explore their own ideas through art.

Ellen lives in Tappahannock and considers herself a stay here, having found a sense of community like no other. Outside the studio, she enjoys fishing, being on the water, and exploring the beauty of nature. Her love for diversity and learning about different cultures enriches both her life and her art. Ellen enjoys a peaceful life with her spouse and two beloved Labrador Retrievers.
